Hind Management has launched a dedicated hotel operating business, giving hotel investors, developers and asset owners across New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific access to more than 25 years of owner-operator expertise and a proven platform for stronger commercial performance.
The model is designed for those looking for an operating partner that understands how to balance commercial performance, brand compliance and long-term asset value creation.
Built on an owner's mindset
Hind Management Founder and Chief Executive Sudesh Jhunjhnuwala ONZM says the expansion represents the tenacity of a business that has built a proven, trusted and sought-after hospitality offering, under the Sudima Hotels portfolio.
"Since 2000 our model has been tested through every stage of the asset lifecycle – from development and construction through to operations, brand partnerships and long-term ownership."
"Unlike traditional management companies, we have put our own capital at risk, developed our own assets and operated our own hotels. That owner mindset shapes every decision we make. We're ready to bring that to owners, whether they want us to operate under an international brand, go independent or bring in the Sudima brand. We've built something that's ready to scale."

Today, Hind Management oversees more than $450 million in owned and managed assets while operating eight hotels across Auckland, Rotorua, Kaikōura, Christchurch and Queenstown. The company employs more than 650 people and hosts more than one million guests annually.
Tourism New Zealand Chief Executive René de Monchy says Hind Management is a well-respected and established member of New Zealand's tourism and hospitality sector.
"Operators such as Hind Management play an important role in supporting a strong and sustainable visitor economy for New Zealand. Hind Management's expansion reflects ongoing investment in tourism infrastructure, helping to build skills, support regional growth, create employment, and deliver the high-quality, world class visitor experiences New Zealand is known for."

A platform built to scale
Hind Management's operating model includes more than 40 specialists supporting revenue management, reservations, sales, marketing, finance, procurement and a 24/7 call centre. It also provides end-to-end hotel management, governance, commercial oversight and operational services designed to optimise performance while maintaining brand standards.
The company has a proven track record managing both branded and independent assets, including operating within international brand frameworks such as Accor while successfully developing and growing its own award-winning Sudima Hotels brand.
Proof in performance: Novotel Christchurch Airport
Hind Management's first third-party operating success, Novotel Christchurch Airport, demonstrates the strength of the model. Operated in alignment with Accor brand standards, the hotel was ranked the fifth best airport hotel in the Pacific in the 2026 Skytrax Awards, while achieving more than 22 per cent year-on-year revenue growth and exceeding budget by almost 15 per cent.
Looking beyond New Zealand
The company's growth ambitions extend beyond New Zealand, with Hind Management actively pursuing opportunities across New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific - including its recently announced MOU to develop a new hotel, resort and convention centre with the Kingdom of Tonga.
The launch of the dedicated third-party operating division positions Hind Management to support the next generation of hotel investment, with plans to develop further tourism infrastructure in the pipeline.
